I look around me every day, and I thank God for what I see. I have lost my vision in one eye but I see very very well with the other one. I appreciate that more and more. I know some people have never seen as well as I do even now. I notice the small things. The sun on a leaf, a bug on a flower.
The gossamer wings of a dragon fly or the wonderful colours of a bee. The intricate delicate flowers and how the petals direct the bee to the pollen.
Vision is a wonderful thing. Never take it for granted.
The butterfly.....symbol for eternal life
I childhood prayer of trust and dedication means more to me than ever as I grow old...........I do place my trust in Him and as with my sight I accept without question what life brings my way.
.....and so.....look to the small things, enjoy your day. Listen to the birds and take note of the flowers. Enjoy and savour the moment.....
and this is the truth of it...............
